21. Feb. – 24. Feb. 2019
Now in its third year, Dressage by the Sea 2019 will be hosted on the grounds of Willinga Park, a world-class equestrian centre set on 2000 acres of the NSW South Coast in the seaside town of Bawley Point.
It’s been called the best equine facility in the Southern Hemisphere and combines stunning architecture, sculptures, and a native botanical garden, with the latest in equine technology, luxury stables, and extensive facilities for the agistment and training of horses.
This event will showcase elite dressage competitors attempting to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. This is a unique opportunity for a rural community to get up close to elite dressage horses. It’s the only international dressage event in rural NSW. The event promises an enjoyable day out for spectators, with excellent food including local produce such as oysters, chocolate, cheese, and berries.
New Zealand’s best riders will also have their eyes on the prize, with several expected to make the journey. The best of the best will battle it out in the Grand Prix Freestyles, where beautiful horses perform dressage to choreographed music.
