We begin the day with a safety briefing on the beach and some handy technique advice before heading off on our first relaxed kayaking session of approximately 1.25 hours taking in the coastline and the expanses of the Jervis Bay waterway.

Ross, your kayaking guide on the day will select the best option for a beach break and there will be plenty of time to chill out if you prefer just having a cup of tea or coffee on the beach or going for a little walk. Morning tea will be served up with plunger coffee, freshly baked cake and fresh cut fruit.

Once we are recharged we will get back in the kayaks and explore the Booderee National Park, learning about some of Jervis Bay’s historic significance. In June it is very likely to see whales and we will be taking the best option on the day for spotting the amazing animals.

After another explore via kayak it’s time for lunch. A delicious selection of locally made wraps plus additional snacks and fruit. Time again for another kayak to take it all in before heading back to the landing site.

This is a superb adventure to attend individually or with a friend. Many of the ladies on Women Want Adventure trips turn up on their own and by the end of a trip have made really good friends with the ladies in the group.
